I just cannot believe it.....the years are going so fast now! Mama always said that the years fly by. Boy she was right!!
I know everyone is looking back and reflecting about 2019, but the year was really good to my family. I am always amazed at God's grace on this family and especially this woman. I just want to give Him a little praise right now. Terry has been dealing with a health issue for a little over 2 years. After testing and doctor visits, biopsy, MRIs the whole nine; he finally received news that we have prayed for. Now I've seen a lot in my 40+ years. We have lost both sets parents to heart disease and cancer. Both set suffered and also both went quickly. Heard terrible news about family members and lost close friends but girlfriend walking this walk that God laid out for us these past couple of years has been a test and nothing short of a miracle. I will testify over and over again about how faithful God is!!
This is honestly the first time that I have walked in blind faith, praying everyday; "Your will Father". Because truthfully, He is able to do any manner of thing He wants. Trusting, see that's the hard part. Not only trusting yourself but to trust Someone you cannot even see or touch. Now that's hard. It taught me a lot about myself. Some good and some bad. I had some hard days and Terry did too. But God....but God.
Anyway, I didn't mean to type all that but maybe it will encourage someone. That is what this blog is about mainly, encouragement. I want any woman or man that comes across this blog to know that they are worthy of love, especially God's love. There is nothing that you have thought, done, drank, injected or said that He cannot love you more than He does at this moment. With that being said, I also want to incorporate fashion, my little side hustle LimeLife by Alcone and fitness. I do love all of these things. Hopefully I will get a routine down for posting a least once a week, although I would love to do more. I started this a couple of years ago and it just fell to the side. I picked it back up as a way of journaling (I love to journal) a few months ago and completely in love with it.
My style of fashion is usually my work uniform, lol. No really, I love the modern classy look. I will leave a picture below as an example. Lots of heels, I use to wear heels all the time. I'm so short that I need something to make my little legs look long. Fitness for me isn't just going to the gym; although if that is your thing, rock on. It messes with my head space and I try to protect that.It mostly includes yoga, Pilates, and some light weights. LimeLife is my new baby. I do love that makeup. I started using the skincare line about two years ago and switch all my products to that. I decided to use their foundation and a few other makeup products and I have to say they are great. I put my makeup on very early in the morning, like 4:30 am so I need it to last all day. Lime Life holds up pretty well. I thought it done so well I decided to sell it. I just want to drop by and kind of reintroduce myself to you and the basis for this blog. I appreciate everyone that comes by and leaves a comment. I am so humbled by that. I am going to leave you with my word for the year BOLD. I'm going to live boldly for God, to use my gifts that He gave me to help and encourage other women. That has always been my heart. In both of this pictures I am wearing an a.n.a top; size small from JCP with bell sleeves. White distressed jeans, size 4; from American Eagle. Jessica Simpson heels, size 6 1/2. I would wear this look ANYWHERE. Date night, shopping, lunch with the ladies.Anywhere. The necklace I have is one that I made at a party hosted by a friend of mine.
