It's the Holiday Season

 Happy December 1st, ladies!!!

2020 is coming to an end. How excited are we about that?? I am thankful for this year, though. I have learned a lot about myself. As I am sure you all have as well.

I did take time to take advantage of the Black Friday, Shop Local Saturday and Cyber Monday sales. Just about finished my shopping for the family. All but the stockings. Yes, my children are grown and they STILL get stockings and Santa Claus. LOL...I know but I so enjoy doing it. Its tradition. Hopefully they get married and have children they will pass it on to their children.

Since we are officially in the holiday season now lets not forget those who are  sick, home bound, lonely; you know, those "less fortunate". I am sure we all know someone that could use some extra love this season. Especially since Covid has kept most of us isolated. Sending a card of hope and encouragement has a way of doing that. I love to still receive mail. There is something very special and personal about receiving a letter the old fashion way.

We tend to put a lot of emphases on preparing a gift or even a card. It has to be package just right, say just the right words, the prefect quote or scripture verse. We forget the reason we started to do the gifting in the first place. That's just like us though as humans. It has to be the greatest, the grandest, PREFECT. Most of us aren't looking perfect, just authentic. The real thing. A gift or card given out of love means everything.

So if you are impressed to do something this season for someone, do it don't wait. You may not get that change again and it just may change that's person's life.

Later this week I will be sharing some deals I got at a local boutique. They have EVERYTHING you need for Christmas gifts. Also, I'm leaving to go on a mountain getaway with some family so I super excited about that.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't for get to leave a comment, question or suggestion. Subscribe to the email list so you don't miss a post.

Blessings,

Dawn
